i want to find a cheap airbrush setup to learn how to use?
i found a "Spray Gun Airbrush Air Brush 134 Gravity or Siphon Feed" on ebay for $30 is it worth it and what kind of airbrushing is it good fo??r i can find whatever kinda paint i need later and ive never airbrushed before ,but im good with other types of painting and i think airbrushing would be awsome to know how to do
Hi, I copy and pasted your description of the gun into ebay and think I found the one you are looking at. It looks pretty nice, however I dont think the quality would be good enough to do anything professionally. But it would be perfectly fine to use as a tester. Fool around with it and see how you like it, if you do then you wont mind spending more on a high quality airbrush.
The airbrush I recommend to my readers and customers is the HP-BCS, but it is $100, it is quite a bit more, but with the airbrush tattoo business (what I do and teach others to do) you make it back so quickly that is is a temporary cost.
What kind of airbrushing it can do will depend on how it sprays, if it sprays nicely, meaning consistent coverage, fine lines then you can do any kind of airbrushing with it.
All in all i say go for it. You will still need a compressor and paint but you said you are looking into that later. But yeah get it and try it out. you might also look in a hobby store, you might be able to get a cheap gun there too.
