Microwave Kiln
Can you fire ceramic in the oven?
or do you have to have a kiln. if so what temp.how long
I have a gas oven.
if not can you do it in the microwave.
You HAVE to have a kiln.
A regular oven doesn't get hot enough. E.G.: 2000 degrees.
A microwave would only make the green-ware explode!!! It would also NOT do anything for the glaze on the green ware or bisque.
Go back to where you bought your ceramics from and have them tell you where you can have them fired. There are businesses that do just that. OR if these ceramics are small enough, see how much a small kiln would cost and the lessons on how to properly use it.
