Mulberry has released spring/summer 2010 handbag collection at the Soho House in this pleasant autumn. “Guests walked into a fantasy of candy apples, carousel horses and walls imprinted with the season’s signature ‘Crazy Horse’ print.” Their famous Mulberry handbags are of course the limelight of the show. The iconic Bayswater bag was redesigned in sugary colors, and punk-inspired neon pink haircalf cheetah. The blueberry ostrich Hayden shoulder bag and gingerbread fringed nappa leather Daria satchel were stars in the sweet girly collection. The signature mulberry tree logo plate in antique brass hardware adds class and glam on Mulberry items here and there. The new Mulberry handbag line features a neutral palette including creamy, blush, beige and vibrant shots of pink. A playful pink/black animal print is whimsical yet stylish.

This time Mulberry launched five new styles and Alexa, Hayden and Beatrice are the three standouts. Alexa is a twisted take on Bayswater classic and can be functionally worn by handheld, cross-body or slung on the shoulder. Hayden has several styles from shoulder bag, tote to messenger and in black, gingerbread and peony pink accentuated with brass metal. Beatrice is available in variations including slouchy, belted bags and oversized hobos and totes with contrast leather trims and heavy stitching.
